Hyperloop Transportation Technologies Plans French Research Center

Hyperloop Transportation Technologies announced plans today to open a research and development center in Toulouse, France, reports the Business Journal. The El Segundo-based company is ramping up its operations after raising $30 million in December from EdgeWater Investments.

Warner Bros. Interactive to Develop Disney’s “Cars 3” Game

Warner Bros. Interactive has partnered with the Walt Disney Co. to develop a video game for the movie “Cars 3,” reports Venture Beat. When Disney last year shut down its video game development division, Avalanche Software, some of its workforce was hired by Warner Bros. Interactive.


Faraday Future Hit with Another Lawsuit for Unpaid Bills

Beleaguered car company Faraday Future was hit with a lawsuit by visual effects studio Mill Group for allegedly not paying for $1.8 million worth of work, reports TechCrunch. Faraday Future contracted the firm in August to develop car presentations with virtual reality, augmented reality and holographic components, but only paid the company $20,000, according to the suit.
