Agilent Funds Biotech Research Center At USC

Scientific equipment maker Agilent is funding a new scientific research center at the University of Southern California, focused on biomedical research, through a new scientific collaboration. According to Agilent, it is working with the University of Southern California (USC) Michelson Center for Convergent Bioscience to create an Agilent Center of Excellence (CoE) in Biomolecular Characterization. According to the firm, the new Center of Excellent will provide a "collaborative scientific environment" with access to Agilent's instrumentation and technologies, which will be available to both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as a local customers.
