Riot Games Facing Sexual Harassment Claims

Los Angeles-based online game maker Riot Games is facing allegations of sexism and harassment at the company, according to a report this weekend from the LA Times. The allegations include that two employees who defended diversity initiatives were "targeted by online mobs and out of a job soon after." The local tech and content industry has had a string of high profile issues over sexual harassment over the past few years, including issues involving Ross Levinsohn, the former publisher and CEO of the Los Angeles Times, who had been heavily involved in LA's tech industry; harassment allegations against former Amazon Studios head Roy Price; and a lawsuit over at Loot Crate; not to mention a long running and ugly set of lawsuits involving Tinder's co-founders and Match Group, also over sexual harassment.
