GoGuardian Names CFO

Los Angeles-based educational software developer GoGuardian, a developer of software for the K-12 market, said it has named Mike Jonas its new Chief Financial Officer. Jonas was most recently CFO of ThriftBooks, and also had been at Microsoft for 14 years. GoGuardian is led by CEO Advait Shinde; the company develops a range of software, including software for Chromebook management, plus software that helps educators identify learning patterns, protect students from harmful and distracting content, and also supports mental health. GoGuardian recently introduced software to help identify possible suicidal thoughts in elementary school. The company is owned by private equity investor Sumeru Equity Partners.
