Digital Motors Gets Investment From AutoTech Ventures

Irvine-based Digital Motors, which develops software for the automotive industry, said this morning that it has received an investment from investor Autotech Ventures. Size of the investment was not announced. According to Digital Motors, it will use the new funding to accelerate its efforts. Digital Motors said other investors in the company also included InMotion Ventures (owned by Jaguar Land Rover), OpenRoad Auto Group, Maryann Keller (automotive industry expert and author), and Ryan Kerrigan (Kerrigan Advisors). As part of the funding, Alexei Andreev, manging director of Autotech Ventures, joins the board of Digital Motors.
