Prodoscore Picks Up Series A

Irvine-based Prodoscore, which develops software for monitoring employee productivity, has raised a Series A funding round, led by Troy Carter. Size of the investment was not announced. According to Prodoscore, the funding goes towards sales and product development. Prodoscore's software is used to measure employee productivity, both in the office and remotely; the company says it is seeing heightened demand for its product as a result of the move to remote workforces brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Sam Naficy is CEO of Prodoscore. Carter--best known for his work in the music industry--also is now well known for early positions in such companies as Uber, Lyft, Dropbox, Spotify, and Warby Parker, among other companies, including Santa Monica's Thrive Market.
