Heal Links With Alignment Healthcare For Primary Care Services

Los Angeles-based in-home, doctor house-call provider Heal is making it possible for members of Alignment Health Plan to select Heal's licensed, board-certified doctors for primary care, the two said on Thursday. Financial details of the partnership were not announced. According to the two, the work together will offer up primary care for Alignment Healthcare's Medicare Advantage Health Plan members. Heal said that it's often difficult for those patients to find convenient options for primary care. The two said that members of Alignment's health plan in Los Angeles and Orange County can use Heal's app to choose their primary care provider, and also book regular appointments. Heal is led by co-founder and CEO Nick Desai. The company said it now expcted to perform 100,000 house calls in 2019, and now offers up its services in California, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia.
