Invested.in Launches Social Fundraising Site

Los Angeles-based Invested.in announced today that it is launching today at the DEMO Spring 2010 conference in Palm Desert. The firm, which is self funded, says that it allows individuals, businesses, and nonprofits to raise money for any project, using social media. Invested.in calls itself a "social fundraising platform", and allows users to use Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and other means to promote different projects, handling the collection of funds for those different projects. The company is headed by Alon Goren.
