Map: Southern California Hotbed Of Kickstarter Activity

A new mashup map of activity on crowdfunding site Kickstarter shows that Southern California is apparently one of the hotbeds of activity on the site. The site shows that an astonishing 671 projects on Kickstarter are in the area -- second only to the New York area, with 744 projects -- and far exceeding 113 projects in Northern California. The map, created by ThingsWeStart, also helps users navigate the newest projects, those with the most funding, projects which have almost reached their goals, and more.
