SpaceX Sends Fourteenth Falcon 9 Mission Towards The ISS

Hawthorne-based SpaceX has successfully launched its fourteenth mission to the International Space Station (ISS) from Cape Canaveral, sending a previously flown Falcon 9 and Dragon capsule to the ISS at 4:30 p.m. EDT. The SpaceX Falcon is carrying 5,800 pounds of supplies, payloads, and vehicle hardware to the ISS, where it is expected to dock on Wednesday, April 4th. The Dragon is expected to stay at the ISS for one month, when it will return with more than 3,900 pounds of cargo. SpaceX said it would not attempt to recover the Falcon 9 booster, however, it was attempting some experimental landing tests on that booster--without a droneship--in the Atlantic ocean.
