SpaceX Plans Expansion In Florida

Hawthorne-based SpaceX is reportedly planning a big expansion of its operations in Florida, at the Kennedy Space Center, as the company continues to ramp up its launch operations there, according to local Florida publications. According to Florida Today, SpaceX is planning a new 133,000 square foot hangar, and a new launch control center, among other expansion at its current location at Kennedy Space Center. The expansion plans are detailed in a NASA environmental assessment document.
