UCLA Launches New Startup Incubator Space On Campus

The UCLA Anderson School of Management has launched a new, 10,000-square-foot startup accelerator space on campus, which it says is aimed at encouraging students, faculty, and alumni to create new businesses. The new Anderson Venture Accelerator, which is being located on one floor of the Rosenfeld Library at UCLA Anderson School of Management, can house up to 45 people, and includes conference rooms, a kitchen, and meeting spaces, according to the school. UCLA said that the space will be open to Anderson MBA candidates, undergraduates and graduate students from other schools on campus, and to faculty researchers. The school plans to run "demo days" and other events in the same space. The incubator is being sponsored by Cadillac.
