Kharon Gets Investment From Barclays

Los Angeles-based Kharon, a research and data analytics company focused on global security threats, says it has received a strategic investment from Barclays. The size of that investment was not announced. According to Kharon, Barclays joins Equity Group Investment, as well as other institutional and private equity investors in the company. Kharon's services focus on providing information on trade, regulatory and financial crime compliance. The company's CEO is Mathew Epstein. The company says that Equity Group Investments (EGI), founded by Sam Zell, has been an investor in Kharon since 2016.
