Bonfire Ventures Adds New Venture Partner, Brett Queener

Los Angeles-based early stage investment fund Bonfire Ventures said Monday morning that it has added a new Venture Partner to the firm, Brett Queener. According to Bonfire, Queener was most recently the COO at SmartRecruiters, and also spent more than a decade at Salesforec.com. Queener had served as VP of Field Operations, SVP Operations, SVP Products, EVP/GM of Data Cloud, and EVP/GM of Marketing Cloud at Salesforce, among other titles. He also has served at Siebel Systems (now Oracle). In addition to his executive positions, Queener also is a seed investor, and sits on the boards of SmartRecruiters, Pendo, Lytics, and Invoca, and was an investor in MOAT (acquired by Oracle), Yespath (acquired by Medium), Guru, Outreach, Postie, ROAM Analytics, and others, according to Bonfire.

Bonfire Ventures focuses on early-stage startups in the software area, focused on B2B software. Bonfire announced its first fund, worth $60M, in January. The firm's partners are all veterans of the startup investment community, having previously been at Rincon Venture Partners, Double M Partners, and Google and Santander InnoVentures.
