Hyperloop Transportation Technologies Aims At China With Test Track

Los Angeles-based Hyperloop Transportation Technologies has signed a deal to bulid a test track in China, in the province of Guizhou, the company disclosed on Wednesday--the first big deal the company has in China to deploy its technology. The company--one of several in Los Angeles looking to build the Hyperloop high speed transportation tubes first envisioned by Elon Musk--reportedly will build the test route in the Tongren prefecture, with an initial track length of 10km.
