Atom Tickets Launches Amazon Alexa Skill

Santa Monica-based movie ticketing site Atom Tickets has rolled out its own Amazon Alexa skill, letting Alexa users purchase tickets using Amazon's popular voice assistant. According to Atom Tickets, the new skill lets consumers hear what new movies are playing near them, and also allows users to purchase tickets through integration with Amazon Pay. Atom Tickets said the new skill lets users reserve and purchase tickets, use the stored credit card from Amazon Pay, and sends digital tickets via email which can be printed out or scanned on your phone at the theater. Atom Tickets is backed by Lionsgate, Disney, Twentieth Century Fox Film, and Fidelity Management & Research.
