Dyve Biosciences Names Chief Scientific Officer

Thousand Oaks-based Dyve Biosciences, a biotech company developing drug delivery technology, has named Chuck Harbert, Ph.D. as its Chief Scientific Officer. Harbert was previously at Pfizer, and had served as Vice President, US Exploratory Development and Strategic Planning for Pfizer, among other positions. Dyve said that Dr. Harbert is author or co-author of approximately twenty scientific publications and inventor or co-inventor of approximately thirty-five pharmaceutical patents, including ZOLOFT. Dyve's most advanced program, DYV-700, is in the beginning stages of a Phase 2 trial, and is being developed to reduce the pain and duration of an acute gout flare.
