Teledyne Shuffles CEO Spot

Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne said late Tuesday evening that it has shuffled its CEO position, with current CEO Robert Mehrabian moving to become Executive Chairman, and appointing Al Pichelli as its new CEO. The company said that Mehrabian will continue to be involved with the company, with a focus on strategy, technology, mergers and acquisitions and margin expansion programs. Pichelli was previously President and Chief Operating Officer of the company. Pichelli has been at Teledyne for nearly 38 years, and according to Mehrabian has been involved in all 59 of Teledyne's acquisitions. Teledyne operates a wide range of businesses, ranging from aerospace and defense to electronics and engineering firms.
