Fair Offers Payment Credits To Uber Pro Drivers

Santa Monica-based Fair, the automotive startup which offers up subscription-based access to vehicles with much more flexibility than a traditional lease, is expanding its partnership with Uber, saying that eligible "Uber Pro" drivers can earn "Fair Credits" to help cover their weekly Fair vehicle payments. Uber Pro is Uber's program for rewarding the most consistent and higher rated drivers on its platform. According to Fair, the new partnership will provide eligible Uber Pro drivers Fair Credits that can be applied to the cost of a Fair car. Fair said that credit amounts increase based on the driver's Uber Pro tier: Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. For example, "Diamond" level Uber drivers receive $40 in Fair Credits at the end of each month. Fair says that in California and Georgia, it has a special "rideshare-ready" vehicle it allows drivers to access for a cost of $195 per week; outside of California and Georgia, it has a Fair vehicle for UberX starting at $130 per week.
