StreamElements Gets $100M For Streaming Tools

StreamElements, a startup developing cloud-based streaming tools, says it has raised $100M in a funding round. The startup--which has offices in Los Angeles, as well as Palo Alto and Tel Aviv--said the funding came from SoftBank Fund 2 and PayPal Ventures. StreamElements is led by co-founder and CEO Gil Hirsch, COO Yuval Tal, and President Doron Nir. The company said it will use the new funding roudn to bolster its staff. The company did not say how much of its staff are in the Los Angeles area.
