TeleSign Enhances Fraud Risk Scoring Tools

Los Angeles-based TeleSign, which provides both two-factor authentication and fraud risk scoring tools, said on Tuesday that it has enhanced its Telesign Score fraud intelligence product. According to TeleSign, it added the integration of the BICS' Telecom Fraud Data Consortium platform into its data, which will help it better predict, detect, and block fraud. TeleSign's product provides a "fraud reputation score" based on any phone number, email, or IP address. BICS maintains a crowdsourced database of fraud information from around 1,000 communications service providers.
