AfterNow Launches New Augmented Reality Presentation Tool

Culver City-based AfterNow, a design and development agency in the augmented reality area, is jumping into the product world with its own, augmented reality software tool, the company said on Wednesday. According to AfterNow, it has launched AfterNow Prez, a presentation tool which it says lets anyone create "immersive and compelling presentations". The tool uses Microsoft's HoloLens. According to AfterNow, its tool lets users upload 3D models, images, and videos to a web portal, then physically place them in the real world via the HoloLens, whc can then be watched by viewers. Pricing on the software was not announced.
