Forever 21 Launches AI Search Tools

Los Angeles-based fashion retailer Forever 21 has jumped on the artificial intelligence bandwagon, with the launch of AI-based, visual search and navigation tools on its online website. According to the company, it is tapping into tools from a New York company, Donde Search, which will offer up personalized recommendations and new visual search tools to help its shoppers find dresses, pants, shorts, jeans and tops. Forever 21 and Donde Search said that the retailer will also use the AI technology for merchandising, recommendations and lifecycle marketing efforts. Financial details of the deal between the companies for the technology were not announced.
