Sponsor Post: LA Tech Gives Back: 157 Volunteers, 32 Companies

The first, LA Tech Gives Back event was held this last week, on Thursday, October 19th, with 157 volunteers attending from 32 companies helping out Thursday at three different volunteer sites: Mark Twain Middle School in Venice, The Center at Blessed Sacrament in Hollywood, and LA Child Guidance Clinic in Downtown LA. The event--headed up by Silicon Valley Bank (www.svb.com)--a sponsor of socaltech--and was also sponsored by ZEFR, TrueX, Deep Current, The Bouqs, Hawke Media, Headspace, Mitu, Two Bit Circus, TrueCar, Embark Ventures, Aspiration, Full Stack Finance, plus LogoWorks, Cava, and NationBuilder. The #LATechGivesBack event was the first in Los Angeles for the nationwide event, which included more than 2,200 tech professionals from Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, California and Texas.
