Eta Compute Names CEO

Westlake Village-based Eta Compute, a company developing machine learning software for embedded devices like mobile phones, has named Dr. Ted Tewkbury as its new CEO. Tewksbery was previously President and CEO of Entropic Communications, and previously also served as President and CEO of Integrated Device Technology, in addition to serving at AMI Semiconductor, Maxim Integrated, IBM Microelectronics and Analog Devices. Eta Copute says it is working on delivering machine learning to mobile and edge devices. Eta Compute's backers include Lip-Bu Tan, Chairman of Walden International and General Partner of WRVI Capital, who sites on Eta Compute's board.
