United Online Names New Board Member

Woodland Hills-based United Online said late Monday that it has added a new member to its board of directors. The company said it named Andrew Miller, current Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of molecular diagnostics company Cepheid, to its board. Miller has been at Cepheid since 2008, and also had served at Autodesk, MarketFirst Software, Cadence Design Systems, Adaptive Broadband, and Silicon Graphics. United Online said Miller is the eighth member of its board. United Online runs such brands as Classmates, Stayfriends, MyPoints, NetZero, and Juno.
