We caught up with Co-founder and CEO Atif Siddiqi , who told us about the service.

Earlier this week, Los Angeles-based Anti-AgingGames (www.Anti-AgingGames.com), a new online game startup, announced a new service to help users improve their memory and concentration, as well as improve brain function. How did you end up starting the site? I ended up managing that project. This is my third company.

Brett and I both grew up in Southern California. I grew up in Thousand Oaks, went to USC, and we met each other way back in the 90's. How did you guys start the company? I came up with this idea due to a deep obsession with the mortgage industry. It's too big of an opportunity to pass up.

Why should a startup thinking about moving to a new place choose LA? Southern California companies are second to only Silicon Valley in raising venture capital , there are three major universities to recruit talent – UCLA, Caltech, and USC – and a thriving startup community to mingle with. In 2005, Majid coauthored "Data Strategy" a book designed to help streamline information management within organizations. He has been the CTO for several start-ups, most notably eHarmony. He has been an instructor in UCLA Extension for 9 years, and is a frequent contributor to various online publications.

In 2005/2006, I really saw that the trend was shifting from television to the Internet. As I watched my kids' eyeballs move over, as well as looked at the research data and advertising data which saw TV's share shrinking, I started looking into new media. Why start another one? Kids really need a deeper level of interaction.
