A Los Angeles firm, Escom LLC , has inked a deal with domain marketplace firm Sedo to sell domain name Sex.com , Sedo said today, in the latest chapter in a long drama over the domain. Escom had purchased Sex.com in 2006, reportedly paying $14M for the website. Sedo said it is now the exclusive brokerage firm representing the domain.

Los Angeles-based Internet Brands said on Thursday that it has agreed to acquire Avvo , which operates an online legal marketplace where consumers can connect with lawyers. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. According to Internet Brands, Avvo will become part of its Legal vertical.
