Burbank-based Disney has shut down parent blog site Babble , according to the site, which did not say why it was shutting down. The site had originally been founded in 2006 by Rufus Griscom and Alisa Volkman, covering topics around parenting and raising children. Disney had paid $40M for Babble in 2011, one of a number of parenting sites acquired in the era by Disney Interactive.

LeisureLink Signs Travel Site
