Westlake Village-based Seven Lakes Technologies , a developer of enterprise software for the oil and gas industry, raised $20M in a Series A funding round earlier this year. Netlist patent infringement lawsuit without prejudice, which was originally filed on November 30, 2009. Inphi, which is based in Santa Clara but has major operations in Westlake Village, had filed the suit in response to another, patent infringement lawsuit filed by Netlist against Inphi on September 22, 2009.

Irvine-based Netlist , a developer of memory subsystems for server market, said this morning that it has added another patent to its lawsuit against Westlake Village-based Inphi Corporation. Netlist originally sued Inphi in September of 2009, with Inphi countersuing Netlist in November.

Westlake Village-based Zumbox , which is developing an electronic bill payment service, has raised an additional $9.7M in funding in August of 2009. in funding, according to a regulatory filing by the firm. Source of the new funding was not disclosed. The firm previously raised $8.0M

Southwest's wireless Internet is being supplied by Westlake Village-based Row 44 , which uses satellite connections to connect airplane passengers to the Internet. Southwest and Row 44 began testing WiFi on four of its aircraft in 2009, and has now installed the systems on 32 planes.
