Demand Media Revenues, Profits Up

Demand Media , the online media publishing firm headed by Richard Rosenblatt, reported record revenues and profitability, the firm said Monday afternoon, as its released its third quarter results. The firm's total revenues grew to $98.1M, up 20 percent from Q3 of 2011 when it reported revenues of $81.5M.

24/7 Media Expands Video Formats

Online advertising provider Real Media Group , which is part of 24/7 Media, said today that it has launched three new video formats. The Social Slide Bar links users to social media sites like Facebook; the Action Button links to retailers like Amazon.com; and the Click-to-Long Play format features links to longer, branded content.
