Burbank-based Disney has shut down parent blog site Babble , according to the site, which did not say why it was shutting down. The site is not the first in the sector shut down by Disney; Kaboose, another parenting blog site, was acquired by Disney in 2009 for CAD $23.3M, but was shut down sometime sometime in 2016.
