San Diego-based renewable energy developer EDF Renewables North America reported Tuesday afternoon that it has been awarded a contract for a 212 megawatt (MWdc) project in New York State. According to the company, the 212 megawatt (MWdc) / 170 MWac Morris Ridge Solar Project is with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), near the Town of Mount Morris. The new system is expected to start delivering electricity by the end of 2022.
