Stratolaunch Completes New Test Flight

Mojave-based Stratolaunch, the aerospace development firm which originally was founded by late Microsoft co-founder Paul G. Allen, said late last week that it has completed its second "captive carry" flight with a test vehicle. The company--which is now under new ownership, and focusing its efforts on hypersonic flight testing rather than space launch--said its completed its second captive carry flight with the Talon-A separation test vehicle, TA-0, the ninth flight for its massive Roc launch vehicle. The Roc is currently the world's largest aircraft. Stratolaunch is led by CEO Dr. Zachary Krevor.
