Netflix, the online streaming provider which has operations in Los Angeles, said on Tuesday that it has acquired Glendale-based video game developer Night School Studio. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. According to Netflix, the acquisition will help it expand its games team.

Burbank-based Disney Interactive Studios said today that it has acquired Wideload Games , a Chicago-based developer of interactive entertainment. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Disney said that Seropian also negotiated the acquisition of Bungie Software by Microsoft Corp.
