Los Angeles-based ntro , the mobile social networking and discovery application developer founded by former Pandemic Studios founder Josh Resnick, has updated the firm's app, as the company looks to make a big splash at SXSW. ntro allows users to find others with similar interests, and interact with them in conversations and messages.

Two of the applications developed by Pasadena-based UberMedia , the Twitter client applications firm headed by Idealab's Bill Gross, are back online, according to Twitter. On Friday, Twitter had declared war on UberMedia and suspended a number of UberMedia's applications for unspecified, violations of its terms of service.
