I was on This Week in Venture Capital (TWiVC) again this week with Jason Calacanis. So my guess is that Tweetup needs to go “multi-stream&# (as in Facebook, MySpace, etc.). That said, Photobucket was a “crack filler&# that exited for $250 million to MySpace. 2.6mm in Series A : Canaan , Anthem.

Santa MOnica-based BeachMint , the celebrity e-commerce site started by former MySpace founder Josh Berman and Diego Berdakin, said Friday afternoon that it has raised $23.5M The round was led by Scale Venture Partners and Lightbank. Lightbank is the venture capital firm of Groupon founders Eric Lefkofsky and Brad Keywell.
