What's the idea behind Sometrics? To better understand the audiences using applications, we built out an analytics system a little over a year ago. We just recently started rolling out ad-related products, like Ad Manager, which is like Google's ad manager with baked-in social targeting. What do you mean by social targeting?

In the show we talked about why this is important to mobile application developers. Primarily because you can launch applications where you focus on a acquiring a user base with a compelling product while not having to worry about how to build your services into a map view or having to build in services that find local businesses, etc.

What are your thoughts on what we can expect to see in the mobile application space at SXSW? The app space has been around long enough that we’re now starting to see less new ideas and more refinement and re-imaginings on old concepts. Take applications like Realmac’s Clear for the iPhone. Refinement.
