DogVacay Hit By Gmail Change

Thousands and thousands of companies who send emails to their users, customers, and potential customers have been impacted by a recent change in Google's email service, Gmail, which automatically steers certain emails until a "Promotional" email tab--and Santa Monica-based DogVacay, the online pet marketplace, appears to be one of them. DogVacay told its users today that the Gmail change may have impacted users, explaining how to recategorize emails from the online marketplace, so that they can reliably receive those emails from the company. DogVacay is far from the only company to run into the Gmail issue--other companies, like City of Industry-based NewEgg, the Gap, Gilt, Groupon, and others, have also been impacted by the Gmail change.
