WebFitness Launches Live Online Fitness Classes: Bring Your Webcam

Orange County-based WebFitness said this morning that it has launched a new service, which lets you participate in live, online fitness classes--using just a webcam, microphone, and high speed Internet connection. According to WebFitness, it runs live interactive group fitness classes, led by a live certified trainer, who monitors your workout efforts remotely using your webcam. According to the startup, it is targeting people who may not be able to get to a gym. The company is led by CEO John Schaaf, and says it offers up different type of fitness classes, ability to track progress towards fitness and dietary goals, provides specific dietary advice, and more.
