Elon Musk Sued By Thai Cave Diver

Technology mogul Elon Musk , the founder and CEO of Hawthorne-based SpaceX , has finally been sued by Thai cave rescue diver Vernon Unsworth, over statements Musk made on Twitter claiming that Unsworth was a "pedo" and "child rapist". Those moves include an odd appearance on a podcast earlier this month where Musk smoked marijuana on screen.

Romeo Power Raises $30M For Energy Storage

Vernon-based Romeo Power , a new startup focused on developing battery-based, energy storage, has raised $30M in a seed funding round. The company is developing cylindrical, Lithium-ion battery packs for use both in electric cars, trucks, buses, and forklifts, as well as for energy storage. Soure of the funding was not announced.
