Uber Kicks Off Major Conference At Skirball

On-demand ride service Uber is kicking off its annual conference, UBER Elevate this morning at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles, where it will feature presentations from the company, regulators, vehicle manufacturers, investors, and many others. Uber is also showing off its flying tax prototype at the summit -- which it hopes to launch as a real service, UberAIR, in Los Angeles and Dallas, in 2023.
