When I was in college ( UCSD, go Tritons !) The first one out even won a major tech conference award. He thought he’d want to get some of his stuff back once the post trauma of the storage had passed. He wanted an Uber experience. But with storage. I was ecstatic. It resonated. I used storage. I went to undergrad at UCSD, which is not a place known for its Greek institutions and my father grew up in South America and had know idea what a fraternity was. Keep it human -Far too many presentations, keynote speeches, conference panels or blog posts seem wooden. Hire people who punch above their weight class.

It’s been my experience that the more focused and intimate events far ‘out-perform’ (however you’d like to characterize it) the mega-conferences. He runs the Southern California Venture Capital Alliance (VCA) and is on the board of advisors for the venture capital fund of the UCSD Rady School of Business.
