I recently wrote a post on angel financing covering the topic of convertible notes but I realized I was thinking about the issue more from investor perspective and a very narrow topic of how to price the round. So I don’t think you can say a group like Tech Coast Angels is good or bad. That’s OK.

Some events, like a recent Tech Coast Angel event at UCLA are really worth it. Of course, thats probably even more true in Silicon Valley. It has to be a pretty good event for it to be worth attending. But some events you dont get quality attendees and then its a drag to drive that far.
