MaxLinear Gets Design Win In Germany

Carlsbad-based radio frequency and mixed-signal semiconductor developer MaxLinear has scored a design win in Germany, with GiaX GmBH, the company said today. According to MaxLinear, GiaX GmbH has selected the company's MxL85110 broadband modem system on chip (SoC) for its HelEOS network system, which will deliver 10 Gbps over Ethernet Coax. Shipment volumes and financial impact of the were not announced.
