TuSimple, Navistar Terminate Joint Development Deal

San Diego-based autonomous trucking technology developer TuSimple and truck and diesel engine manufacturer Navistar said Monday that the two companies have ended their co-development deal. The two had signed the joint development deal in 2020. Reason for the parting of ways was not given; according to the companies, "The decision to end the development agreement does not preclude the companies from working together in the future." The move comes shortly after the company received a warning from the Nasdaq for failing to file its financials on time.
