He was struggling to find high quality developers in Los Angeles. Just the kind of person I like to meet. :) But I was a bit surprised when he emphasized how hard it had been for them to find a web developer in Los Angeles. The result of web design are static pages as graphics or HTML. Or at least not development to any depth.

Mobile Camp LA will be held on Thursday, October 18th, through a collaborative effort organized by User Groups in the Los Angeles Area including LA-UX, iPhone LA, OC Hackerz, Future Salon Network, Android dev LA and many more. There are about 300 people registered for this event!

The course embeds classrooms in technology companies and universities, and the girls learn everything from robotics to mobile development to computer languages such as HTML and CSS. She was inspired to start the organization when she learned that only 0.4% Twenty girls completed the LA Summer Immersion Program.

What that means, is the banner is no longer Flash, but it slcearly HTML-based, and video based. That allowed us to gracefully and organically scale the company, using that revenue. Was it difficult from shifting from an agency to becoming a platform developer? HTML will get you modern browsers, but won't work on old browsers.

Right now, the service is for consumers, and free, but in August, we'll have a beta of our Pro version, which will be for brands and brand managers, page managers, the people who are managing an organization's presence on Facebook. They had been recommended as a preferred provider for Facebook application developers, but it didn't work.
