I tragically lost my mom to cancer, my girlfriend (who I was living with at the time) and I broke up, and then my team and I were laid-off when the market crashed in 2009. The first three years were fantastic, but my fourth year was very tough. I booked a one-way ticket to LA to visit my only friend in the city and crash on his couch.
