New York Auto Show delayed until August over coronavirus concerns

Organizers of the 2020 New York International Auto Show have postponed the event until August due to concerns about the COVID-19 outbreak. The New York Auto Show, which is organized by the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association, was scheduled to begin April 10 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The event will now be held August 28 to September 6, according to a statement from Chris Sams, the show’s spokesman.

Inseego Gets $25M Injection

San Diego-based Inseego , which develops 5G and Internet-of-Things technology, said this morning that it has received $25M via a private placement, in a Series E Preferrred Stock sale. The funding came from a private fund managed by Mubadala Investment Company's asset management arm, Mubadala Capital. The company said Mubadala Capital joins other major investors, including Tavistock Group and North Sound Partners.

Quibi Sues Eko

Los Angeles-based short-form streaming media startup Quibi , founded by Jeffrey Katzenberg and Meg Whitman, has sued a competitor--Interlude US Inc, which runs the interactive multimedia entertainment service Eko , saying that it has "embarked on a campaign of threats and harassment to coerce money or a licensing deal from Quibi". Apparently, Eko has accused Quibi of infringing on a patent.
