San Diego-based Applied Data Finance , which is developing technology used for credit modeling, loan origination, and asset management, said on Tuesday afternoon that it has raised $145M in a combination of equity and debt. The funding came from MAI Capital Management, LLC (MAI), Victory Park Capital Advisors, LLC (VPC) and Park Cities Asset Management, LLC (PCAM), along with family office investors.

Camarillo-based Semtech , which develops analog and mixed signal semiconductors, says that its LoRa wireless radio frequency technology has been deployed in India. According to Semtech, Hanbit, a provider of end-to-end automation products in the gas, water, and electricity metering market, is using its LoRa devices in its smart meters. Shipping volumes and expected financial impact of the win were not announced.

Nabriva Therapeutics has acquired Zavante Therapeutics in a stock deal that brings to the antibiotics developer an FDA-ready drug. Under the deal terms announced after the market close Tuesday, San Diego-based Zavante received an upfront payment of 8.2 million Nabriva (NASDAQ: NBRV ) shares. Nabriva, which splits its operations between Ireland and King of Prussia, PA, finished the trading day at $3.30 per share, making that payment worth $27 million.
